I am in my second tour at Covenant. I graduated from Heritage Christian and Covenant Christian High School before attending Calvin University. After graduating from Calvin in 2007, I began teaching at Heritage Christian for four years. I started my first tour at Covenant in 2011 and taught in the math department. I completed my M.Ed. from Calvin University in Education Leadership while teaching at Covenant.

In 2015, my family and I moved to Yucaipa, CA so I could teach at Hope Christian School in Redlands, CA. Teaching in a multi-grade classroom and working on the development of a high school curriculum were highlights of my work, but our family also enjoyed many sightseeing journeys in our three years in Southern California.

From 2018 to 2022, I was employed as a grower at Brower Greenhouses and a farmhand at J & J Farms in Hudsonville, MI. God called me back to the profession of teaching, so here I am. I am currently teaching Geometry, Algebra II, and World History. My wife, Katherine, along with our four children attend Georgetown PRC.
