Mr. Kyle Bruinooge grew up in Grand Rapids, MI, where he attended Adams Christian School, and then graduated from Covenant Christian High School in 2000.  After graduating from Western Michigan University in the spring of 2004, he returned to Adams Christian School as a teacher in the fall of that same year.  

In his eight years at Adams, he taught second grade for three years, and then transitioned to grades seven through nine for his remaining five years.  He has had many seniors at Covenant that were in both his second grade classes as well as junior high classes.

Prior to coming to Covenant Christian High School in the fall of 2012, Mr. Bruinooge
earned his Masters degree in Education from Grand Valley State University in 2010. 

Mr. Bruinooge is married to Audra (Bol) and they have three children: Elise, Devin, and Grant.  They live in Jenison, MI and attend Faith Protestant Reformed Church.

Currently Mr. Bruinooge teaches New Testament and Worldviews, and also serves as the Curriculum Director.
