Special Society Meeting: Thursday, July 16, 2020
The Board of Trustees of Covenant Christian High School is calling a special school society meeting for
Thursday, July 16, 2020 at 7:30 p.m., to be held via the online Zoom app. The Board of Trustees has
been working in conjunction with the Long Range Planning Committee to develop a plan for a significant
increase in students in the next 5-10 years. This plan included looking at and purchasing property both
to the north and south of school. At this special meeting, we request approval for the purchase of the
Gary Moelker property, located to the north of our current baseball and soccer fields along with a land
preparation proposal. We also seek approval for nine men who request to join our membership, as
outlined in Article II of the Society Bylaws. Each has read and signed the application form showing their
agreement with our membership stipulations. The Board urges each Society member to participate in
this meeting format as proxy votes are not allowed since all proposals are debatable matters.

Q: Is the $70,000 for just the new parcel? Or does that include stump removal from the other parcels too?
A: The $70,000 is for the entire 13 acres that is in need of work.
