I graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2009 with a Bachelors Degree in History with a minor in Philosophy. After studying in the Protestant Reformed Seminary for two years, I returned to undergrad studies at Western Governors University to achieve a degree in Secondary Education. Currently, I am pursuing a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership at Cornerstone University.  In 2015 I was hired by Covenant Christian High School after teaching sixth grade for four years at Heritage Christian School in Hudsonville.

At CCHS, I have taught within the Religion, History, and Foreign Language Departments. Currently I teach Church History, Cults & World Religions, and Latin I. I also taught World History Survey for two years. I also enjoy co-leading the student council and coordinating our weekly chapels.

My wife, Megan, and I have been married for ten years and have been blessed with three daughters: Bailey, Norah, and Harper. As a family we enjoy camping, going to the beach, playing soccer, and spending time and playing games with each other. We are members of Hudsonville Protestant Reformed Church.
